“ Education is key to unlocking the world, a passport to freedom. ”
Multicultural Educational Campaigns will support schools & local communities.
Music is a universal language which has helped humanity to comminicate and express itself since thousands of years.
We will use Ethnic-music programs, because music brings energy, fun, emotions and movement to children and youth. Through this they will be more receptive to understand and learn what multiculturalism means
New Zealand is a multicultural country and we have to educate on the path of equality and diversity.
The Multicultural Education Campaign will facilitate learning through educational programmes and activities in class in order to encourage awareness and sensitivity to the realities of immigrant children and young people, by developing greater empathic and respectful attitudes towards foreigners. It will also encourage the learning of immigrants of NZ culture, in order for them to increase their understanding and sense of belonging to their new country.
The exchanges and learning will be done by using different mediums, i.e. talks, games, debates, videos/films and music. Using these different modalities will encourage the sharing and understanding of immigrant and NZ children and young people.
Children and young people from all ethnic backgrounds will have a lot of fun and will gain valuable, deep understanding of each other.
